Ear Exploding....

Hero Hepar Sulph...

I had been nursing a cold for a week with lots of vitamin C , fresh lemon juice and lots of rest. I was slowly but surely getting all the cold out of my system.

Then the heating at work stopped working!!! I still managed to avoid getting worse by wrapping up warm.

The next day I worked from home on zoom calls all day. As I sat there with my ear to the window and the draught I had no idea what was to come. As I finished my last call and blew my nose I heard my ear pop...owww!!!

I took an Aconite asap but the concept that I I had perforated my ear drum had not reached my conscious thought. I rushed out of the house head exposed, without a second thought, to do the school run. The temperature had dropped and my poor ear was exposed to elements again!

By the time I walked back through the front door my ear and cheek felt like they were about to explode!!! For the next few hours I was rolling around the floor in agony. My ear looked red, the pain felt like I was going to pass out. It felt like I had a balloon trapped in my ear and my hearing was significantly impaired!!!

I took a few doses of Belladonna and Chamomilla but then turned to Hepar Sulph 200.

I went from rolling around the floor to gently rocking on the sofa with a duller pain. Hero Hepar Sulph helped the flow and discharge from the ear alleviating some of the tension.

Over the next few days I continued to take the Hepar Sulph. The liquid continued to gradually discharge BUT without causing me a full blown ear infection!
